CMS Mechanical Technician On Restaurant Impossible

Randall Petty, a technician for CMS in Atlanta, made an appearance on a recent episode of Restaurant Impossible on the Food Network. Randall’s daughter, Ashley, recently graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College. She was at work while the film crews were filming for the show. Chef Robert Irvine mentioned needing someone to make a repair on their walk-in cooler. Ashley let the producers know that her father did that kind of work. At that time they placed a call to Randall.

When Randall arrived the producers took him to the walk-in cooler where he found that the floor of the walk-in had rotted out. Randall, with the help of his brother Kyle and soon to be son-in -law Colby Casto, set to work on the cooler. After 18 hrs and a lot of blood, sweat and tears, the three had torn out the floor, removed all of the damaged materials and replaced it. According to the producers this could have kept the restaurant from opening. The episode is titled “Longbranch Fayetteville Ga”.

Impact of HVAC on Restaurant Operations

HVAC systems play a critical role in the functionality and success of a restaurant. From maintaining a comfortable dining environment for guests to ensuring food safety through proper refrigeration, these systems are essential for daily operations. When an HVAC issue arises, such as a malfunctioning walk-in cooler, it can lead to significant losses in both food inventory and customer satisfaction. Randall’s expertise in this episode of Restaurant Impossible highlights the importance of timely repairs and the impact they have on a restaurant’s ability to function efficiently.
