HVACR education is becoming more strenuous for educators and administrators. HVAC Excellence is coming up with a new program for HVACR educators. The program called HERN will make the stress of educating HVACR students a thing of the past. Read more below about the new program and when it will be formally announced.
MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. — The present requirements for establishing and maintaining an HVACR program are vastly different than those that were in place just a few short years ago. HVACR educators and administrators are becoming bogged down in the education process, leaving little time for a full and thorough program assessment and needs analysis.
HVAC Excellence, in its continued mission to improve the technical competency of the HVACR industry, announced a new program, the HVACR Education Resource Network (HERN). HERN is a network made up of manufacturers, wholesalers, publishers, credentialing bodies, soft skill providers, teaching aid providers, educators and trainers, educational institutions, and other industry-related organizations.
Through HERN, industry-leading groups are coming together to support the development of world-class HVACR training programs. They will provide schools and other industry training programs with the tools and resources necessary to produce a highly skilled workforce.
HERN will be formally announced during the 2019 National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference, March 3-5, 2019 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas.
