It’s hard to believe it has been three decades since we first started CMS Nextech. In 1992 CMS Nextech was started by one technician in Melbourne, FL with a service van and a vision to provide commercial HVAC nationwide. 30 years later that vision has come to life as we are America’s largest independent self-performing HVAC/R service provider and provide service nationwide. 1992Our story begins as a local HVAC company in Melbourne, FL.

1993 – 2000Focused on quality service and expanded our coverage area.

2002Created Executive Facilities Solutions (EFS) and partnered with industry peers to provide nationwide service.

2004Developed a system able to capture & analyze equipment data.

2005 – 2006Expanded coverage area and opened two regional offices in Texas and Virginia.

2010 – 2014Continued growing and opened six additional regional offices in AL, IN, KS, NC, PA and TN.

2015Accumulated 10 years of service data of every make & model, enabling customers to lower expenses and increase efficiency.

2016 – 2018Added regional offices in Iowa, Louisiana, and two additional offices in Texas.

2019Rebranded company to CMS/Nextech and opened our Georgia, Ohio and Oklahoma offices.

2020 – 2021Added the states of AZ, CO, MA, NV, SD, UT and WY to our self-performing network and opened our Illinois and New Hampshire regional offices.
